Back to school is just around the corner! For all you young undergrads or first-years, decorating your dorm room is an opportunity to express your newfound individualism and identity! But, of course, they all have to be practical too, since there isn't going to be much space. So, here are some of our ideas for individualizing your dorm-home décor:

What better way to hold onto precious momentos from where you've been? Having your favourite pieces treasured in a shadow box will remind you of how far you've come - and your roots - while staving off that little bit of homesickness. Shadow boxes are great for sport jersies, medals, awards, or even little small treasures like seashells, pebbles, a well-loved necklace.

This one is totally our favourite. Metal prints are super glossy and slick, making for a unique and kicking art piece for your space. Pick a photo that means a lot to you - something fun, vibrant, energetic - like a vacation with the fam, or a besties trip.
